Two consecutive earthquakes have devastated parts of southern Turkey (officially known as Türkiye) and northern Syria, causing unimaginable hardships for families already affected by years of war. More than 50,000 people have died, and millions more have lost everything.

Our local partners are urgently providing life-saving support in the form of food, medications and shelter to children and families affected by this heartbreaking event. Already located within the heart of communities needing support, they are able to have a huge impact on children and families.

WHAT WE ARE DOING

Street Child's network of local partners means that despite these challenges we are already on the ground, in the hardest hit areas of Aleppo and Idleb, and are making a significant impact to the lives of those affected. 

Our partners Orange, Amal, Takaful al Sham and Violet have been working around the clock to protect those survivors who have lost everything. As a direct result of your support, through our network of partners we have reached more than 16,250 people in North West Syria with food, shelter and child protection activities.We have also been able to set up two recreational spaces and learning hubs in the camps for those who have been displaced.
