Street Child is an impact-driven organization working to support
1M of the world’s most-marginalized children to be
safe, in school and learning by 2024.
1 in 10 children are out of school.
1 in 4 children who complete school are still not able to READ, write or count.
The majority of these children live in regions experiencing a humanitarian crisis, such as
conflict, disaster, disease, displacement, or extreme poverty.
Based on the belief that education is a fundamental human right and the surest pathway to a life free from poverty,
Street Child works in these most challenging contexts, supporting children who are among the world’s most marginalized
to be safe, to go to school, and learn to read, write and count for a brighter future.
We specialize in working with local level organizations for lasting impact, and have a network
of almost 200 local partners in 20 countries across three continents.
